Please join us for a Watercolor Workshop led by Stephanie Lowe, one of our own IIDA members and an interior designer at Prellwitz Chilinski Associates. This session will cover basic watercolor techniques to use in painting landscapes, from cloudy skies and foliage, to architecture with brickwork and shadows.The first 5 to sign up will receive a watercolor kit delivered by the Membership Committee prior to class (available to IIDA NE members only).

Materials

If you are not one of the first 5 to sign up and receive a kit (you will be contacted by the committee at least one week prior to the event), please feel free to bring your own materials to the workshop. It is recommended to have on hand:

  • Watercolor paper 140 lb preferable (e.g. Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Pad)
  • Brushes - A mix of a few different sizes is good for different techniques (e.g. White synthetic flat and round brushes
  • Watercolor Paint
  • Palette
