Andrea Coan, Panelist
A&D Manager, Steelcase

Andrea Coan is the Architecture & Design Manager with Steelcase in Boston. She has 30 years industry experience which includes 19 years as the A&D Manager at a variety of global manufacturers. Prior to that Andrea was an interior designer where she worked closely with Fortune 500 clients on a national basis designing inspiring workplace environments. Andrea has been an invaluable asset to the teams she has worked with, constantly surpassing all challenges and goals to help bring the best marketing, design and research trend issues to the A&D community and beyond. Andrea has spent most of her time as the liaison to the design firms to ensure their understanding of the products and services that are offered and assists them with technical information for the product solutions for the project. Andrea has worked with such clients as Partners Healthcare, Google, Rocket Software, LogMeIn and Olympus.

In 2005, Andrea became a LEED accredited professional. She uses her LEED knowledge to guide designers and client to the products that are best suited for their LEED certified projects. Some of the projects that she has been involved in for LEED are Bank of America, City Year and Greater Boston Food Bank. Through her creative thinking and understanding of the clients’ needs, Andrea can help educate architects, designers and their clients about workplace research, sustainable design, products solutions. As an active member of the IIDA, Andrea is aware of the issues that face design professionals on a daily basis. She embraced the IIDA organization while still in college and has been an active member for over 30 years. She has served on many committees such as the Fashion Show, Career Day, and Portfolio Day and has occupied the position of chairman for the Educational Day Program. From 2013-2017, she was the Vice President of Sponsorship in which lead the charge for strategic fundraising for the chapter and for all events. In June of 2015, Andrea was the recipient of the 2015 IIDA NE Star Award for her continued dedication and outstanding contributions to the profession and the New England Chapter.

In her free time, she loves skiing, boating and to travel. She resides in Braintree, MA with her 16 year old daughter Liah.


Jeanine Campbell, Panelist
Principal and Director of Interior Design, Boston, Perkins&Will

Jeannine Campbell is a Principal and Director of Interior Design for the Boston studio of Perkins&Will where she continually pushes for design excellence. In her role, she leads the design direction of all corporate interiors projects as well as the interiors components of the studio’s commercial architectural work. Throughout her years of professional practice, Jeannine offers her expertise to consistently deliver design and service excellence to her clients. From start-ups and incubators to high-profile technology giants, by focusing on each clients’ needs and project vision Jeannine implements innovative design solutions to create effective workspaces as an extension of a unique culture and business philosophy.



Tom DiLillo, Panelist
Regional Manager, New England, Steelcase

A 31 year veteran of the furniture industry, Tom leads the Steelcase A&D team and product specialist teams for the New England marketplace. He also leads Steelcase’s local workplace strategy services program and the development of new in-market programs. Previously he has served as director of marketing for Coalesse as well as leading the Steelcase field marketing teams for Asia, Middle East and South and Central America.

Senior Vice President, CBRE

Cerise is a Senior Vice President at the CBRE Boston Consulting and Life Science Consulting group. With formal background in workplace strategy, Cerise advises occupiers and investors on identifying strategic opportunities that speak to broader business objectives, uncovering actionable insights around real estate through the lens of workplace strategy and employee experience. In 2019, Cerise was recognized by Connect CRE Media as one of the Next Generation Honorees, recognizing young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come. Cerise holds a bachelor and master’s degrees from Cornell University with a focus on human-centered design, real estate, workplace research, and health & well-being.


Karina Silvester, Panelist
Studio Director and Technology Practice Area Lead, Gensler

As a next-generation Studio Director at Gensler, Karina is focused on bringing fresh eyes and agile processes to each design challenge and project opportunity. Karina is passionate about pairing human-centered strategic insights with design interventions to realize measurable business impacts and improved user experiences. With a background in architecture and design thinking, she leads teams in developing innovative real estate concepts across market sectors and at a range of scales. She has advised a variety of clients to create unique spatial solutions, from workplace tenants such as Fidelity, Akamai, and IBM to real estate developers rethinking their assets, including Oxford Properties and Boston Properties. She currently leads a Boston-based Technology and Consumer Goods Workplace studio of 30 inquisitive designers and architects creating bespoke design solutions for Creative Economy clients.
