Gable Clarke, IIDA, LEED® AP
Partner, Director of Interior Design // SGA

As the head of SGA’s interior design practice, Gable is responsible for project oversight, client relations, business development, mentoring, and firm leadership.  She also spearheads HR initiatives that enhance the company culture and employee retention.

Gable enjoys establishing trust with clients, developing camaraderie with industry peers and co-workers, and transforming spaces into inspiring environments.  Her favorite project phase is discovery – when the team members roll up their sleeves and immerse themselves in a client’s culture.

Over the course of her 20+ year career, which includes 15 years at SGA, Gable has received several prestigious honors.  Most recently, Boston Real Estate Times named her one of 10 Outstanding Women of 2019 in Commercial Real Estate.  In 2016, she accepted the IIDA New England’s Leadership Award of Excellence.

Several years ago, Gable became a Certified Generations Trainer, and has since advised clients and colleagues alike on managing and working with different generations.  In recent years, she’s noticed a growing interest in this area within the building, design, and real estate industries as employers attract talent through workplace “destinations.”

Gable holds a Master of Science in interior design from Florida State University in Tallahassee, and a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Milligan College in Elizabethton, Tennessee.

Outside of the office, Gable serves on CoreNet New England’s education and awards committees.  She also spends time with her family, volunteers at her kids’ school, participates in charitable initiatives, travels, meets up with friends, and takes piano lessons along with her kids.  She confesses that her kids are “lapping” her, but she nevertheless remains diligent about practicing.
