Q: Why did you choose to become an Interior Designer?
A: The desire to positively impact people’s daily lives through the built environment lead me to Interior Design.

Q: What is one piece of advice you wish you could have given yourself when you were just beginning your career?
A: You don’t need to be the most creative or innovative to be a great designer. Knowing how to help bring creativity out of those around you and support the entire design process is just as important.

Q: What is the most important skill you have honed over the years?
A: Balancing creativity and with practical matters such as construction feasibility and budget.

Q: What do you hope to accomplish as part of the IIDA LEAD program?
A: Through the IIDA LEAD program, I hope to become an team member that others can come to for support, encouragement, understanding and open collaboration.

Q: What is your favorite part of being an IIDA New England member?
A: The connection with others in the design community continually renews my passion for design and the positive impact it can have for others.
