What is a fact that may surprise people about you?: I have completed two sprint triathlons and I cry when being tickled.
What past project of yours holds the most meaning to you and why?: Siwanoy Country Club, I was heavily involved in the design, FFE selection / procurement, and project management.  

Name a favorite space or experience you wish you had designed?: Terrain Westport, the restaurant and the indoor nursery are two of my favorite places.

How would you describe your leadership style in 3 words?: Encouraging, collaborative, cooperative. 
What advice would you give to this year's class of emerging leaders?: Continue being curious about the world and people around you, don’t be stagnant. It’s never too late to start something new.
Recall a moment you felt the most empowered as a professional Interior Designer?: When a client/owner confides privately that they are happy with my performance.
Do you have a "design mantra" or saying you find yourself repeating?: I don’t, but I’d love one
What makes a project successful for you?: Satisfied clients and end-users.
How has IIDA helped you the most in your career?: I am a new IIDA member, I am looking forward to the networking and learning opportunities.
How would you explain the difference between a professional Interior Designer vs Interior Decorator to a stranger?: Ugh, someone asked me just last week if I am a decorator! I try not to get upset and educate them:Designers design and are responsible for space programming, code adherence, and the health and safety of occupants; Decorators decorate.
