 The Senior Interior Architect will report to the Director of Interiors. The position requires collaboration with architectural teams in the development of interior architecture. The Senior Interior Architect has the responsibility to lead project teams to conceptualize interiors projects, set the initial design direction, and make critical aesthetic decisions throughout the project while integrating input from the client, the senior project manager/Principal, and members of the project team. The Senior Interior Architect has an overall responsibility to maintain the highest design quality for our projects while supporting and perpetuating our core values.
 
Must collaborate on Firm projects, including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administrationProvide design leadership to team members for all phases of the project from conception through constructionPrepare, develop, and monitor, with team members as appropriate, conceptual designs, material and concept presentations, construction documentation and administration, including submittals, shop drawings, and finish samples for approvalPartner with contractors, consultants, vendors, sub-contractors to meet overall project objectivesConceptualize, design, and detail custom product solutions when appropriatePrepare and manage project FFE specifications and material selectionsMaintain working knowledge of current techniques, products, materials, and systemsCreate new and foster existing relationships with local workrooms, sales reps and vendorsReview/red-line vendor quotes, prepare sales proposals, and manage DSK’s in house procurement processContribute to office activities, Firm initiatives, and professional development of emerging designersForecast and Manage project budgets while meeting established targets How to Apply: Interested candidates who meet the requirements should forward a letter of interest, resume and portfolio | work samples to the attention of Mary Lou Kearns, Office Manager at [email protected].
