JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist senior designers with development of design solutions, research and select colors/finishes/materials, performs site surveys, maintains resource materials.
- Work under the direction of mid- to senior level interior designers.
- Research interior products.
- Apply established interior design standards.
- Assist senior level designers in the development of design solutions for review.
- Perform routine checking and/or verification tasks.
- Researches and selects colors/finishes/materials.
- Support business development activities through assistance with aids such as finish boards or PowerPoint presentations.
- Performs site survey and documentation.
- Maintain resource materials.
- Has exposure to interior design specifications, calculations, and industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution
- National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Certification preferred.
- 2 to 7 years of active Interior Design practice with exposure to a variety of project types including: Health Care, Education, Civic, Workplace, and Senior Living.
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and installation oversight.
- Experience with Interior Design Staff management.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
- Ability to operate in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt in a fast and changing work environment.
