JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Interior Project Architect with a strong eye for design to join our Workplace team! Ideal candidates will possess the ability to:

• Set a sustainable design vision for the project
• Manage technical design tasks from early design stages through and into construction
• Develop and document elements of the design such as: plans, partitions, ceilings, doors, millwork, finishes, FF&E, lighting, and coordination of structural, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and electrical services
• Effectively persuade and negotiate, must be a strong communicator
• Stay attentive to team roles, responsibilities, and the project work plan including staffing, budgeting, scheduling
• Oversee and mentor junior level design staff
• Ability to effectively coordinate with internal team, project consultants, contractors as needed

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of relevant experience, experience designing and coordinating commercial kitchens preferred
• Professional degree in Architecture and/or Interior Design required
• Licensure preferred
• Fully competent in all aspects of architectural processes
• Graphic, 3D visualization, CAD, and Revit skills required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates collaborative and professional work ethic
• High energy and positive attitude is a must
