 JOB DESCRIPTIONIdeal candidates will possess the ability to: 
Develop and coordinate detailed design conceptsAssist in developing construction documents and furniture specs with respect to the design conceptDevelop functional requirements and project-design criteriaPrepare design plan, elevations and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, finish plans, color plans and schedulesDemonstrate an understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design conceptsManipulate basic design elements such as proportion, color, light, texture & scaleProvide color/finish/material research and selectionPrepare contract documents, including design plans, elevations, and details, furniture layouts, ergonomic dimensions, finish plans, color plans, finish schedules and ceiling plansResearch manufacturers for furniture system and finish materials, providing budget cost for selectionsProvide programming and space planning analysis and area calculations EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience in Corporate Workplace, Residential, Multi-Family Residential, Institutional, or Hospitality Sectors Strong background in FF+EConstruction Administration experienceFully competent in all aspects of the design processDemonstrate a general knowledge of building materials, detailing, and construction techniquesExperience in all phases and aspects of a project desirableGraphic, 3D visualization, and CAD.
