Founded in January 2019, the IIDA NE Workplace Innovation Committee explores the constant evolution of workplace design to discover how we can design for the future of work. Each year, we’ll bring you exciting new examples of how design can disrupt the status quo, maximize human potential, and transform the way we work.

For our first event, the focus is on the modern business traveler. Hotels are beginning to ditch the traditional business center model as they search for better ways to accommodate a new generation of mobile workers. Co-working spaces open hotels to new audiences, allow them to engage with the local community, activate lobby spaces, and unlock potential new revenue generation.

Learn how The Revolution Hotel is blending traditional amenities like restaurants and lobby cafes with flexible on-site work spaces and social programming to create unique guest experiences.Join us for a panel discussion with designers, artists, and collaborators to learn how The Revolution Hotel went from vision to reality. A tour of the ‘Conspire’ coworking space, as well as hotel amenity areas for both guests and the neighborhood, will follow.
