This is our first annual Habitat for Humanity Women Build Day! The mission of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program is to recruit, educate and nurture women to build and advocate for simple, decent and affordable houses in their communities. Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity has been empowering women in the Hartford area to address and help solve the housing crises in their own neighborhood. The IIDA NE Hartford City Center has volunteered to raise a minimum of $1,200 for our Build Day ($100 per person, 12 people maximum). Click here to learn about the benefits you will receive by donating.  If you would like to donate to help our cause please click here.

Please share with family and friends to spread the word of this great cause! Donations must be submitted by Friday, April 19th to secure our spot for 12 volunteers on site. For any check/cash donations, please submit to Jillian Tara no later than Wednesday, April 17th, to the following address. Make checks payable to Habitat for Humanity.
