Join us for our annual Holiday Masquerade Gala! Put on your party clothes, grab a masquerade mask and join us for another fabulous end of the year social event, where our friends and colleagues from the design community come together to eat, drink, mingle and celebrate another successful year of design! Showcase Slideshow Once again we will be showcasing a slideshow of projects from our local firms/designers/reps/dealers. We want to celebrate our design efforts by showing off our hard work and give everyone an opportunity to see what great projects we have created! Every attendee will be allowed to submit (1) 11×17 power point sheet with images they would like to share. All photos must include project name, firm name, architect or designer name and photography credit if professionally taken. All slides must have a black background, white Arial text and images that will be clear when projected. JPGs and PDFs of complete slides are also acceptable. Slides can be sent to [email protected] and must be received by December 3 to be included in the slideshow. Slides may be reformatted if needed. Gift Collection This will be our 20th year of collecting gifts for foster children and other children at risk here in CT for Covenant to Care. The children live in cities throughout CT and come from extremely difficult situations, with ages range from infants to teens and their wishes for gifts can be clothing, art supplies, teaching toys, or a simple gift cards. The gifts provided through the gift drive are likely the only thing they will receive for Christmas and it is so important to bring them this small bit of hope and happiness during the holiday season! Name, age and gender is included on gift tags along with each child’s specific gift request. One Bill at a Time is a campaign to raise awareness and resources for Interior Design Advocacy in the New England Region. By adding two dollars to each event hosted by IIDA NE, we remind ourselves that advancing our profession is the core mission of our Organizations and, with small individual contributions throughout our community, we can make a large impact*. *At the conclusion of each calendar year, all funds raised will be distributed to New England states with active advocacy initiatives in direct proportion to the percent of Chapter membership residing in each state. We dedicate this campaign to the individuals that achieved interior design legislation in New England states and paved the way for the future of our profession, One Bill at a Time.
