Women in Construction Week at South County Habitat for Humanity provides the opportunity to take the proactive step in helping families improve their living situation. Women in Construction week is a great time to get involved with our community for a good cause!! For more information on other events taking place during Women in Construction Week, please visit the NAWICRI (National Association of Women in Construction) website here.

Please join IIDA NE Providence on March 12 at our Habitat For Humanity RI build day! The build will take place in South County (exact location still to be announced). Due to current COVID restrictions the maximum group size we can accommodate is 12 people. Refreshments will be provided.

Since we are limited with our own build days, we want to share with you NAWICRI’s build day which is taking place on Thursday, March 10. You may contact Lindsey Desjarlais ([email protected]) for more information or to participate.

If you are unable to join us, you may also make a donation. The South County Habitat for Humanity has a goal to raise $10,000 to help local families. Many Habitat partner families include single moms who work hard to support their families, but the cost of homeownership leaves them making impossible choices between healthy food, medicine, transportation, and a safe, affordable home.To donate, click here. If you would like to send a donation in the mail, please make checks payable to South County Habitat for Humanity ('Women Build" in the memo line) to PO Box 68, Shannock, RI 02875
