If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be...: Quirky, determined, and loving
What is your strongest personal quality: I would say my attention to detail and willingness to speak up if something doesn't match the original design intent.
What was your first thought when you woke up this morning?: 10 more minutes please?!
What is your favorite type of music, band or musician?: I don't know if I have a favorite type of music but I would say that my go to is upbeat and could dance to.
You've been given access to a time machine; where and when would you travel to?: I would love to go back to the roaring twenties! It seemed like an amazing period in time... the cars, the fashion and the jazz music. I would love to go to a speakeasy during the prohibition-era.
What is your best childhood memory?: Growing up my family would spend most of the summer down at our family built cabin on Lake Champlain in Vermont. We would spend most of the summer going boating, swimming and having barbecues. I have some amazing family memories with family just relaxing on the lake.
Lesson learned that has benefited you most in your career: I would say that the thing I have learned so far that has been key is to always ask questions. I am always eager to learn new things and not afraid to say I don't know something because that's the only way I will learn.
Why did you choose to become an Interior Designer?: As young as I can remember I have always wanted to be an Interior Designer. Growing up I loved arts and crafts but I also loved to help my mom redecorate the house. I had an eye for spatial organization. I would reorganize my room all the time! In 8th grade we were required to do a job shadow and I followed an Interior Designer around for the day...after that I was hooked!
What is one goal you'd like to accomplish in your lifetime?: I have always wanted to backpack through Europe! I will make this happen someday.
