What is your strongest personal quality?: My sense of humor, I love making people laugh.
What skill set are you most proud of professionally?: Being a problem solver.
What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?: I asked my Mom for help with this answer…she said organizing the magnet letters on the fridge and singing along to cassette tapes (she said I sang to myself all day everyday…which I still do, especially in quarantine!)
What do you hope to accomplish as an IIDA Emerging Leader?: Learn more about my personal strengths and how to utilize them every day.
What's your go-to for de-stressing?: A good Spotify playlist and a long walk.
Revit, CAD, or Sketchup?: I recently learned CET, which is kind of a mix of all three!
Are you usually early or late?: Always early.
What three things are in your bag?: Headphones, chapstick and hand sanitizer.
What is your favorite part of being an IIDA member?: I love being a member of the philanthropy committee to be able to give back to local charities.
Why did you choose to become an Interior Designer?: I always got excited with home improvement projects, specifically the ‘before and after’. I loved the idea that our whole house would change by opening a closet into a hallway or changing the location of kitchen cabinets to connect the kitchen and living room. I wanted to help others feel that same excitement about projects in their spaces.
