What is your strongest personal quality?: I am a learner – I crave knowledge and work to understand new things.
What skill set are you most proud of professionally?: Strategic thinking is one of my strong suits. I am futuristic and research driven, which pushes me to generate solutions and plan purposefully.
What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?: A small balance beam in the basement! I loved practicing cartwheels and finding how long I could hold positions just a few feet in the air.
What do you hope to accomplish as an IIDA Emerging Leader?: I hope to build bonds in our industry based on the shared belief that making better spaces is an important job we can do together. 
What's your go-to for de-stressing?: Running the esplanade in the spring, reading books by the water in the summer, hiking in search of the best foliage in the fall, and skiing in Vermont in the winter.

Are you usually early or late?: I’m a right-on-time kind of person.
What three things are in your bag?: A full water bottle, an iPad loaded with drawings and inspiring apps, and a laser measurer.
What is your favorite part of being an IIDA member?: Connecting with my fellow IIDA Emerging Leaders! Though we are not in person, I absorb so much good energy each time we log-on and share our strengths and aspirations.
Why did you choose to become an Interior Designer?: I grew up collecting scraps on job sites while my parents worked as architects – it was so captivating to watch the drawings on the dining room table become spaces I could walk through. It was always clear – there was nothing more gratifying I could do with my career.
