I've been on the Design Awards Committee for 3 years.

Why did you choose this Committee? 
I got my big break from a friend who was already contributing on the Design Awards Committee. She said they had one more spot, encouraged me to apply, and told me don’t mess it up!


How did you get into the A&D industry? 
Another break from a friend. I was in my 20s having some fun with a residential flooring company, when my friend told me she recommended me for an interview with Interface. I’ve met so many talented people, worked on extraordinary projects, and received new opportunities since that conversation. It was a game changer. 


What is your favorite IIDA NE event? 
Design Awards by a billion. Can’t wait for the virtual show in September!
